A lot of H.N.A.S.-fans all over the world kept asking to finally re-release on CD what they consider one of H.N.A.S.’ definitive masterpieces (along with "Im Schatten der Möhre" and "Melchior): P. Li Khan's solo side of the H.N.A.S.' "Ach, dieser Bart!" LP. Originally issued on vinyl in 1988 (KK records, Belgium) this recordings (included here is the very rare bonus 7"-track) show why Dr. P. Li Khan and H.N.A.S. are rated as pioneering forces of experimental music in the 80s/90s. An astonishing wild mix-up of strange songs, bizarre cutups and an overall "kraut-tone" make these tracks so special. The other part of the CD gives an overview of P. Li Khan’s more recent live works during his 2 year stay in Asia, 2000-2002, covering several in-concert recordings from China, Korea and Vietnam. The "Asia" selection comprises of the six extremely rare tracks from the 3 long deleted Dr. P. Li Khan Live in Asia singles (released on the austrian Klanggalerie label in limited editions of 100 copies each) and several unpublished pieces.

Join Rowenta exploiting the strange visions of 13 year old Heike, a german girl, who first told her obscure story in 1975. You may have heard some rumours about her fate, but what actually happened back then is still a mystery to all those involved (even original T.O.P.Y.-members!). Frank got hold of Heike’s archives in 1989, but was told emphatically not to touch them before the very year 2000! He did so, but it took him another 3 years to restore and edit this difficult and scary stuff.  If you listen to the finished work now, you will agree that it was worth the wait, as the results of Frank’s work are astonishing in any way. Dr. P. Li Khan’s careful production makes this CD one of the most essential issues of the darker side of current experimental music.

Frank’s newest output on DOM ELCHKLANG features music that he originally composed for an exposition of french architecture in Bordeaux, France. "Weingüter", a quadrophonic piece in 4 parts (for 4 tube amplifiers) was actually never performed, as his concert at the exhibition had to be stopped when Frank began to throw grand crus at the audience. 10 years after this "event" the original composition is available to the recordbuyer for the first time (carefully mixed down to stereo by Achim P. Li Khan). Compared to its predecessor "Schuss in den Ofen", "Weingüter" shows Frank in a more "power-electronics" mood, featuring some adventurous use of synthesized amplifier sounds.

After the split of H.N.A.S. in the early 90s, Achim P. Li Khan kept the original weird and experimental spirit of the early days alive and, joining forces with classically trained Frank Rowenta (see also his wonderful solo release!), he took the H.N.A.S. sound to the next stage. Contrary to some other members of HNAS (who concentrated on becoming well respected "new age artists"), Rowenta and Khan presented an LP full of fresh, exciting and powerful music back in 1991. This digitally remastered CD edition comprises of the whole sessions from 1989-1991 and features 6 bonus tracks that could not be included on the original LP.Faithfully restored and rearranged coverart make this an essential purchase if you love the 80s H.N.A.S.-sound peppered with Rowenta’s spacious soundscapes.
